1. Confusion Caused by Natural Grain Patterns
Due to the inherent characteristics of natural wood, solid wood furniture possesses natural colors and grain patterns. Even planks made from the same log are not identical. Features such as knots, scars, or cracks are testaments to a tree’s years of growth, and minor imperfections are inevitable. Precisely because of this, each piece is celebrated as “the world’s one and only slab.” These characteristics are not defects but the essence of natural wood. Aurora Table Studio respects the uniqueness of every tree and meticulously crafts each slab in a way that preserves its natural beauty.
2.Changes Due to Wood Movement
Because wood contains moisture and its moisture content fluctuates as it “breathes,” it undergoes expansion and contraction. This can lead to slight warping, twisting, or the appearance of small cracks. These are natural reactions of wood to changes in environmental humidity and temperature. Although Aurora Table Studio subjects every slab to natural air-drying and high-frequency kiln-drying, controlling the final moisture content to between 9% and 12%, your epoxy resin table may still experience issues when acclimating to your local environment. However, these natural changes are normal characteristics of solid wood and do not constitute quality defects. To minimize such changes, please maintain indoor humidity between 35% and 65% and avoid extreme temperature variations.
3.Regarding Custom Resin Colors and Natural Materials
Due to the unique nature of epoxy resin tables, each slab is a one-of-a-kind piece. Natural wood grain patterns, resin flow, air bubbles, stone-like effects, and color gradients may vary slightly. When an order is placed for production, Aurora Table Studio artisans strictly follow provided sample images and drawings. However, handmade resin products cannot achieve 100% identical replication, which is precisely the charm of a “world’s one and only slab.”
4.Regarding Color Differences Between Photos and Actual Products
All product pictures/videos are taken of the actual items. However, differences may exist due to the following reasons:
- Colors presented under different lighting conditions.
- Variations in photography techniques and equipment.
- Differences in displays across various phones/computer screens.
Aurora Table Studio strives to present colors as accurately as possible, but subtle differences may exist between images and the actual product. This is normal, and the physical product shall prevail.
5.Regarding Dimensional Tolerances
As every product from Aurora Table Studio is handmade, a dimensional tolerance within 0.5-1cm is considered normal. All dimensions are measured at the widest or longest points of the slab. Dimensions shown in drawings or photos are for reference only. Final dimensions are subject to the actual product.
6.Goods Inspection and Receipt
Please inspect the goods on-site before signing for receipt. If any of the following situations occur, please take photos immediately and contact your Aurora customer manager:
- Damaged or severely deformed packaging.
- Inner/outer cartons appear to have been tampered with, torn, or resealed.
- Missing items or incorrect quantities (your multi-item order may be shipped in separate logistics consignments).
If a package is signed for without inspection, it is considered accepted without logistics damage. Any damage reported after signing will not fall under the category of transportation damage.
Every table is meticulously crafted by Aurora Table Studio. We respect the inherent grain and character of the wood itself. We hope you can feel our passion for original wood products through any piece of our handmade furniture. Thank you for your support and recognition of our brand. We are truly grateful!
